We have been learning about line in Art. Today we tried to draw 3D hands using just lines. Below is a sample of our work.

We had lots of fun today cleaning up our playground for Clean Up Australia Day. 4E managed to find rubbish in all sorts of places. The whole College looks so much more beautiful now.

4E had an exciting time today watching the Westpac Rescue helicopter land on the College oval. We were able to look inside the helicopter to see the equipment used in rescue situations.
The College was able to raise several hundred dollars to donate to the Westpac Rescue helicopter. Thank you for all your support.

In Science we are studying life cycles. We have some fertilized eggs in an incubator. The students have been asked to research and come up with the most probable guess as to what will hatch out of the eggs.

Today we started our first Science lesson. We learned about living and non-living things by collecting specimens from the playground and investigating what makes an item living or non-living.

Having fun learning to start a running race.
